This is Jackpot she was one of the best Merinos I have ever bred but had a short show career as she didn't like it
Picnic was one of my alltime favorites ,a breech baby that I helped into the world .Picnic won Doncaster in 2003.
This is the aptly named Abra-Cadabra as she was quite a surprise
Quintuple Champion Gandalf is now 6 years old and still a real gentleman he was the most successful of all my show pigs with 25 B.I.S. At this time Merinos were still in Rare Varieties it would have been nice to see him compete in the Open Show.
Sadly died recently in his 7th year.
Peru won Best Rex in The Rex stock show before retiring to be a very good stud boar.
Pale Face won Best u/5 in the Tort & White show at Harrogate 2002 and went on to win many more sow classes she always wanted to live on her own and sadly never bred .
Dream was a successful show sow and Champion who went on to have 3 litters of single birth sows ,each going on to be show winners .Amicelli being the first of her daughters to gain a B.I.S. Followed by Pizazz and last ,but by no means least came Snickers .
Pierot
Amicelli
Pierot is from a long line of roans I just love this colour
Morning Warrior was probably my second most sucessful boar his very clean patchwork and colour made him a must in the breeding programme.
Titan was a really deep rich Red who moved with the rest of the stud to Martin Pearse
Truffle was a striking looking sow a bit like a traffic light and a pleasing round shape a real show stopper.
Truffle
Black Velvet was the most successful Texel winning 12 B.I.S.His nick name was Gypsy one sock ( his mum being Gypsy) and his one white back leg.He only sired me two litters, but his great, great granddaughter Rosacae and her brother Icarus carry on the good line.
Patch was the most successful Tort & white boar winning numerous T&W B.I.S. and was a prolific stud!!!!His descendants have gone to reside with Julie @ Carnival whom I wish every success.
