We started as many others with pets and very soon got the bug!!!Over the years we have kept different breeds including Agoutis,Dutch,Himalayans,Rex,Tort & Whites,Roans,Reds,Harlequins,Magpies and Belted.
I soon settled on Longhairs (its the hairdresser in me)and have successfully shown Alpacas,Merinos and Texels for 9 years.
Rex is always up for a challenge and likes to take on a breed to promote and improve it.He currently breeds Dark Eyed Goldens andTeddies .
He also bred Shelties which I now show.
Five years ago we moved to accomodate our growing hobby and although the house still needs a lot of work there was a great outbuilding for the guineapigs and this took priority.
The house as it is today looks good from the outside!!!!!

Rex ? judging the first Agricultural Show of the year at Thame Showground
It's days like this that confirms we're all mad with snow on the
ground and a stiff North East wind !!!
Rex and I are National Panel and specialist panel judges and enjoy judging both in U.K. and abroad .We try to be involved in promoting our hobby wherever possible.Rex is on the Southern Executive and judging panel is secretary of the Rex Cavy Club and Nikki secretary of The Coronet & Sheltie Cavy Club.We are both on the British Cavy Council.

Our yougest son Josh is 15 and has grown up surrounded by guineapigs .Our daughter Hannah 24 and son Will 21 escaped a couple of years ago and pursue their own interests but have accepted the time we spend around the guineapigs albeit they think we're a little crazy.
We put a lot of time, effort and love into our guineapigs and our stock can be found in many caviaries in the U.K. and also in Sweden,Denmark,Norway,Italy,France,Portugal,Spain and Romania and probably others we don't yet know about, but none of it would have been possible without some very good freinds, those who started us off with stock and those who we continue to work with to improve the breeds .So just a few special thankyous from Nikki to Linda Monk, Jens (Malaxis)in Sweden and Lena and Cornelia in Sweden.
From Rex to Linda & Rob Monk again!!!Vivian and Tommy in Scotland (Belted),Jens and Stian and lots more who helped along the way .
