Our first guineapigs lived in an 8x6 shed which soon needed to be extended.
When we moved 5 years ago we looked for a house with a suitable outbuilding.Initially the piggies lived on the ground floor of our house while Rex improved their accomodation.
With the installation of some more cages, electricity and running water they very soon were able to move into their new caviary. All of this was possible with Rex's hard work and a very good freind of ours Gareth of G.M.K. cavies.
For a long time the guineapigs lived in more luxury than us, in fact I think they still do !!!
This our caviary as it is today. It measures 40ft x 10ft and houses 92 cages with dividers that can be removed to house bigger groups.
February 2009 first came the snow !!!!!!
Followed by the ice!!!!
