Skye was always going to be something special, hence the choice of name and he never let me down ,my most successful Alpaca ever winning 10 Best In Shows and runner-up Best In Show Harrogate 2009.
Half brother to Glory ,Skye is a very different character , a much stronger character and was always a bit of a challenge to show , as he would fight to keep his head up !!!!!! especially if he could hear my voice!!
Skye also became the most travelled of all my pigs travelling through France,Belgium,Holland and Germany to Denmark in October 2008 to compete in the Danish Championship show ,aged just 3 months alongside his half brother Christmas Crowning Glory.
Skye being part of yet another special moment as one of my trio who took 1st,2nd and 3rd Non-Self at Wiltshire show
Skye was crowned Best 5/8 at Harrogate 2009 alongside Valentina as Best Adult , he was eventually runner-up Best In Show
Skye went off on his travels again ,only this time without me ,in the capable hands of Evelyne Van Vliet and Jens Lindgren he went off along with Valentina to be part of the judges convention in Holland.
Skye excelled crimping , I hope this is an attribute he will pass down to his offspring expected shortly !!!!
